Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Omaha Downtown

Be aware that the 2 bed rooms are 2 doubles and not queen, so they are going to sleep a little small by standard hotel bed sizes. Hot tub being broken seems like an ongoing problem. The location is also on the edge of what I'd feel comfortable with walking after dark. Service was amazing, however. nice variety of healthy options for breakfast, not just the usual high-carb fare.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. **Cleanliness: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐** The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding. Every area of the hotel, from the lobby to the rooms, was well-maintained, spotless, and hygienic. It's clear that they take great pride in maintaining a clean environment for their hotel. Our stay at the Fairfield in downtown Omaha was nothing short of excellent. The combination of stellar service, pristine cleanliness made our visit memorable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Omaha for its top-notch hospitality and attention to detail. A local rail line runs outside the hotel on the back side if you want to sleep in ask for an even numbered room. You’ll still hear the train but it shouldn’t be too loud the conductor was polite with the horn and it didn’t start until around 7:30 am

My first impression was this was in the middle of homelessville. Lots of people walking and sitting around on the streets around the hotel. Loud truck traffic on the street behind the hotel. Luckily, it stopped over night. The staff was super friendly and very security conscious. Doors locked at 7 pm. Pay for parking $10 per night. Not sure why, I was worried about the car being safe. It ended up being fine. Nice hotel for the money and close to downtown and Charles Schwab Field.
